Holy Metallics...
Balmain's Fall 2011 collection was one of my absolute favs...It's so 'metallic-y'! I'm going to step out on a limb here and say that could we maybe, possibly see metallics popping up next fall??!! If people start wearing shiny gold pants and multi-metallic blazers, that would be SO COOL!!!! : ) (I WILL be one of them!)
Playing with Proportions
Balenciaga's Fall 2011 collection was uhMAZing of course, but what I especially loved was the proportions of the pieces and the fabrics. The play on disturbing the 'normal' proportions of garments is extremely intriguing.
